Dear City Neighbors Community,

Education funding for Baltimore City Public Schools is under serious threat. Maryland is facing a huge budget shortfall and is looking for ways to balance it’s budget. One thing that has been discussed is the likelihood that they will cut education funding. We in the City understand these are tough times and tough decisions have to be made but we are organizing and working together to ensure that those tough decisions don’t fall in a disproportionate way to Baltimore City school students. We believe that Baltimore City Public Schools is in a delicate stage of its transformation that must be protected.

Join us at a Parent Leadership Training and Rally on the 26th and help us to show City legislators that we will stand united across the city on behalf of our children.
