This week @ City Neighbors Library

Welcome New City Neighbors Families and Welcome Back Returning Families!!
I hope to see all of you in the next few weeks in the library. Every morning between 8:00-8:15 am and every afternoon except Wednesday after school, students can borrow books from the CNCS library. With a little parent help with punctual pick up or arrival, every child can borrow a new book every day at City Neighbors!!

With our wonderful original collection plus the wonderful $4,000 worth of books we added this summer, your children are going to want to. In addition, K-5 students can check out books each week during their library times with Ms. Williams. Middle Schoolers will not have an established library time and will therefore need support from teachers and parents both in getting to the library for books.

UPCOMING LIBRARY EVENTS and INFO
Baltimore’s Book: Please join us at the Waverly Branch of the Enoch Pratt Free Library this Wednesday evening (Aug 29) at 6:30 for a discussion inspired by Esperanza Rising led by a panel of immigrant families. City Neighbors families will be on the panel! Show your support and earn volunteer hours.

Preschool Storytime at CNCS–This Wednesday (and every other Wednesday thereafter through the school year) we will have storytime with fingerplays, songs and stories for preschool siblings of City Neighbors students. Please join us!

When are books due?
It is great when books can be read in one week or two, but it is also fine to renew books for a second two week check out period as long as they are being cared for. Most books we have should be returned within one month.

Students in K-2 check out 1 book at a time; 3& 4 get 2 books at a time, 5-7 can have 3 at a time.
