The Big Read: To Kill a Mockingbird

City Neighbors and Red Canoe Bookstore & Café are co-sponsoring this month long literacy initiative to get 2000 citizens of NE Baltimore reading, thinking about and discussing Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird. Books are available for the low cost of $2 at the Red Canoe or City Neighbors library from mid September. Pick up a list of events and plan to attend a movie screening, lecture, dramatic reading or book discussion!

The Big Read is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in cooperation with the Institute for Museum and Library Services.
