On Tuesday, April 28th and Wednesday, April 29th, students in grades 5 and 8 will take the Maryland State Assessment in Science. This assessment is given to all fifth and eighth grade students throughout the state and serves as the last state-wide assessment of the 2008-2009 school year. Scores for this assessment will be sent after the results of the other MSA tests and will be sent to home and school.
You can support your child in doing his/her best by making sure he/she gets a good night’s sleep, eats a healthy breakfast, gets to school early, and understands your expectation of best effort. If you have any questions about the assessment, please feel free to ask Mike or Ms. Jagusch, test coordinator for Science MSA.
