This year, our sixth grade students have the opportunity to attend North Bay, a week-long environmental trip in northern Maryland. Our seventh graders went last year and it was a tremendous experience.  

This trip is open to all sixth graders in Baltimore City. Students depart on a Monday morning and return on Friday afternoon. During the week at the Environmental Center, they participate in a thoughtfully developed set of environmental classroom and team-building activities. Our students are scheduled to attend from Monday, June 1st through Friday, June 5th.
 
There will be a parent information night with Daniel Burke (Program Coordinator for North Bay) on Monday, May 11th at 6:30 pm.
 
This year, due to budget shortfalls, the city and the sponsoring foundation are not able to pay for the full amount.   Therefore, we will be asking parents to contribute
approximately $50 for the cost of the entire week.   There will be more information and paperwork to come.
