After a fantastic week, we bid farewell to our German friends. During this week, strong bonds and memories were created —- not only between the students from each side of the Atlantic, but by the teachers as well. Whether it was duckpin bowling, eating crabs, exploring the Aquarium, traveling to DC, or just hanging out together, our 8th grade students had the most rich cultural experience possible —- just getting to spend real time getting to know someone from another country.

We look forward to a continued relationship with our German friends. Thanks to Mr. French for spearheading this entire Project. Thanks to Mr. FitzSimons and Ms. Glenn for their support, organization, and participation. And, thanks to all the host families for coming together and showing our friends the best of City Neighbors community spirit.
