What is a Grand Conversation at City Neighbors?

Grand Conversation is part of our Family Literacy initiative. Students in a particular grade, along with their parents, agree to read a book together. When everyone has finished reading the book, parents,
students and the teacher come together for some good food and a “grand” conversation about the book.

This week, 4th grade will host the first Grand Conversation. 2nd grade and 3rd grade will follow with two more next week. Look out for a Grand Conversation opportunity in your classroom!
