This club is intended to help students accomplish class homework and beyond that to make skills in math and reading more fluid and secure. The homework club will have a new sign-up each trimester. All 16 students who sign up for club are expected to attend all sessions. If students complete homework during the session, they will play Everyday Math Games to develop concepts and read grade level texts and enhance comprehension. Parents could support the club by taking part, by sending snacks for the group, and by asking their children to explain homework they have completed in the evening.
